Blackwater Bayou features Brad Baglio from Baton Rouge, LA, Ben Sprouse of Ridgecrest, CA, Kris Freeland from Fordyce, AR, and Chris Tollett from Nashville, AR. Their sound is a unique blend of southern rock, country, and blues that results in an incredible live performance.
Their debut album, "Blackwater Bayou" was recorded and produced at Granite Mountain Studios in Alexander, AR and mixed and mastered at Van Scyoc Studio in Jonesboro, AR. The album is a collection of original songs, each of which embodies the soul and energy of the band.
On the second album, "American Dream" the band teamed up with Van Scyoc once more and released the ten song compilation on July 28th, 2023. From the hard hitting title track to the emotions of "I Felt It", which had over 6000 streams in the first week, this is an album that is meant to be played from start to finish with the volume turned to 11.
